Flea Market Colt
I purchased this revolver at a flea market and would like to know the fair market value.The revolver is a Colt Golden Spike 22 caliber in a
delux case with papers and a gold looking railroad spike.the gentleman
said that the piece was new,unfired made in 1969.As I have several revolvers I tend to beleive that the piece is in deed unfired as there are absolutelly no ring marks on the cylinder and no marks anywhere on the piece itself.Looks like a collectors piece to me but I my be wrong.

There were 11,000 of these made in 1969. According to S. Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values, the retail price should be $450. Based on the popularity of these early Colt commemoratives, I suspect that it would sell for more than that.
Obviously, you want to keep it "unturned".
