egyptian made uzi - looking for info/details

I'm no expert...I don't even own a gun for that matter...but while I was serving in the Peace Corps in Honduras '98 to '00, I came across a guy who owned an Egyptian made uzi. (It actually said "Made in Egypt on it). He didn't have any details on it and I believe he was loading it with 9 mm, which it fired perfectly. He hit a soda can from 10 meters dead-on.

I wanted to know more about the gun, so I've been doing searches on google, but can't find anything about Egyptian made uzis. I'd love to hear from anyone who can point me toward good info or enlighten me. Thanks in advance!

    As far as I know the only submachine guns made in Egypt were the Port Said's and their derivatives.

    Here is a picture of a Swedish C G M-45, which is virtually identical to a Port Said.

    I couldn't say what a Port Said would be worth in "Honduras"?
    Here in the States, on the other hand it's worth 10 years in Levenworth if the JBT's catch you with it.
