k98 GERMAN OR YUGOSLAVIAN?
hi, this is basically my question, what would you buy, the yugoslavian 230_ (230$) or the german version 600_ (600$) of the k98
i live in spain, and these are more or less the prices here

depends on what you want it for, 'just a shooter'=yugo, 'collector' gun=german 0 -
I always go with the german for a shooter or collectable.

I agree with Mike Whiskey. The Yugo is a fine shooter. For the k98 to be worth that much as a collector piece, it would have have to be all orignal....no mismatched parts. 0 -
I have 3 98's(1 german and 2 yugo's). The german is pristine and will never be shot much --the yugo's WILL be shot and quite often. The german is smoother but there is very little difference in the 3 as far as accuracy is concerned. I would buy yugo for a shooter or would buy the german if a collector piece is wanted. 0 -
