This question has come up before regarding the R-30 and P-30 and there are some folks here who know how to do it. Be patient they will be along.

If it IS the stock spring, it goes above the flat metal piece that passes as the release lever.
    How long is it exactly?
    Are both ends rolled?
Does your bolt still function, or does anything else not work when you reassemble without it?

Both ends of the spring are not rolled, one end is coiled, and the other looks something like horizontal even ends (kind of hard to explain). The only thing that does not function is the lever in front of the trigger housing guard. The sotck still pulls out and pushes back in but you have to play with it to make it work, everything else works find as far as the bolt and all.

I dropped mine today and right side of the front side wall cracked off, as it is made of plastic and it s just not the front side to be replaced, I will have to have the whole entire right hand gaurd/forearm replaced, I do know what the sit is with these carbines but it does not hurt to ask. Is there any way possible to come across someone with spare parts to fix it? I may end up having to glue it, also, what is the best glue to use on this type of plastic.
