    Either the model mentioned or the ones produced as joint venture w/ Smith & Wesson are good buys and will give you dependable service.

    I owned one that was imported by Sig Sauer. It shot well and was reliable. My only complaint was that the grip was too large for my smaller than average hands. You may be interested to know that it locked up via a rotating lugged barrel.

    I had one and shot it at the range for 2-3 months. I couldn't get used to it. It was reliable enough but it is a REAL PAIN to re-assemble after cleaning. It got to the point that I sold it because it was such a hassle......make sure you take it apart and put it back together before you buy it and you'll see what I mean......on the other hand you may like it...given a choice of the the Mauser M2 or a Walther/S&W 99...take the latter......they cost a little more but are worth it. Better yet but any SIG or HK.....then you'll really know what a good pistol is.
