Need an evaluation
Customer just brought in a Browning 1885 Low Wall (code 037002243) in 260 Remington caliber. This rifle is unfired, in the box, has an octagon barrel, with all papers and a set of Browning bases and rings (#51260). The bases and rings have been installed on the rifle and everything is absolutely new.
What would you appraise the value of this rifle to be?

Hello Ron,
About $850. I am not sure, but I think that you can still buy these new. The 260 Rem chambering in that rifle has only been around for a few years.

I do know that this caliber was added to the lineup in 1999 and I had two customers order them the same day. I ordered more and was advised by the distributor that they had all been sold. Bert H., thank you for the information provided. 0
