    Art,

This is the only material that I could locate in my references. I would suggest trying some of the Tactical sites since there appears to be quite a bit of conversations on them about the cartridge. The Alexander Arms website is under construction so they are little help unless you e-mail them...

    Best of luck!

we have the dies, and the only bullet we have been able to obtain is the 334 grain jacketed hollowpoint. its a duplicate of the ALEXANDER ARMS LC factory loading...

its the load that they developed at the U.S. ARMY RADFORD ARSENAL in RADFORD VIRGINIA...

i am told that the .500 S&W bullets are the same diameter, and could be used in the BEOWULF cases...

i look forward to some answers from other experts as well...

    best regards, mike.

Leitner-Wise made a .499 upper for the AR15 and got a Government Contract and supplies the Coast Guard with them.

The cartridge is the same exact thing as a .50 Beowulf from what I'm told. Just somebody else marketed the idea better:

At least they made a bolt door for the upper.

On the Ar15.com forum they say the Lee Beowulf Dies come with a loadsheet. Try asking them guys for it.

I have been wondering if you reload this round with .50 cal muzzle loader jacketed bullets. If you look in Cabela's catalog they have .50 cal Powerbelt bullets in 'dangerous game' that are steel tipped and a variety in aerotips.

They also have maxi-ball bullets from Thompson Center with plastic rings on the bullets that would cut down leading the barrel, could they be used in Beowulfs also??

Your really on your own developing loads for this cartridge.

I'm in the midst of leaving one job for another and haven't had the time nor money to come up with loads for mine either.
