What is it worth ?
I am looking at a Stevens sxs model 530. It is 12 ga. 28" , the receiver is a copper color. overall in very good condition. Can't find a value in the blue book I have. Could it be worth $375.00 ?

Look for like items on gun auction sites. Not what the seller starts it at, but rather what a person has bid. The free market is the only guage of actual worth. Books are pure speculation based on the authors subjective judgement.

There were three Model 530's made...The Model 530, Model 530ST and the Model 530M....The Model 530 had Double Triggers and the Model 530ST had a Single Trigger...The Model 530M had a Plastic Stock...They all had Steel Barrels and were Hammerless............

"the reciever is copper color" sounds like it was reblued (cast iron turns red/copper when reblued). this will lessen value. originaly it was color case hardened (molted blue/red/purple). 0
