jefferson ??? .22 mag.

I took in a rifle I've never heard of. the only markings are "Jefferson, made in U.S.A.; m-260; Cal. .22 r.f. mag" no ser. # so must be pre '68. Kinda looks like a cross between a Rem. 572 and a Win. m-190. well made and shoots ok.
