Removing a dent from a stock.

I bought a stock from Numrich gun parts and it has a dent in it how do I remove it.

I don't approve of political jokes. I've seen too many of them get elected.

    How is it finished (e.g. varnish, oil, urethane), or no finish? If it is oil finished or bare wood, you can steam most dents out. If it is varnished or urethane, you will need to strip it first.

    Send it back for a new one. If as is I've had some good results with steam.

    It's been finished already, looks like I'll just have to get use to it. It's used and the only one they had.

    Why not strip it and then steam the dent out? I take it this is a "used" stock?

    Yeah its used. Thats what I'll probably end up doing.
