ATN or Kobra red dot sight
Which of these are the better heads up display sight for an AK type rifle?

I don't have an ATN but I do have 2 Kobras ... the ones I have are the type with the base for mounting to Weaver Dovetail/Picatinny Rail. One I bought for use on my Ultimak and an AKU94 conversion and the other I've used on an AUG and SPP Pistol and even an AR flat top ... they work pretty well but in bright/direct sunlight it washes out ... I think any of them will, if there was a hood over it it might help. 
The next holo-sight I buy will probably be a EO Tech 511. I got my Kobra's when CDNN was selling them for $119 ... I guess now they are around $225?.If you really want to do something, you'll find a way ...

I put an ATN ULTRA on my VEPR II. I shoot from a bipod and have had great results and a lot of fun. I like being able to change reticles and adjust intensity for each shooting situation. This is my 7.5 cent/round plinker, so I have no knowledge/experience with ATN's in a tactical situation.
If I had 4x the money, I would love to put a Leupold CQT on it.0 -
