Scope for a .270 Win?

Hello all! I am on the market for a scope for my Ruger .270 Win. Deer season is just around the corner! Any recommendations on a good, durable, all around scope for this caliber? I know you can go very cheap, or, very expensive and there are tons of different brands available. I guess I am looking for the best value 3-9x scope I can get my hands on. I don't want to go broke on this purchase, but I don't want to be looking through a toilet paper roll either.

    Buy a Leupold Vari-X III... you will never regret it[^]. I own more than a dozen rifles that I have either a Leupold Vari-X II 2x7, or a Vari-X III 3x9 scope installed on, and some of them are more than 40 years old.

    I just put a Nikon Monarch 3x9 on my 270win. I had a Sightron 3x9 and boy I could tell a big difference between them. I'd say look at Nikons scopes.

    I don't approve of political jokes. I've seen too many of them get elected.

    All my rifles have Simmons Aetec scopes on them. Handle recoil up to 340 Weatherby and held zero perfectly with zero fogging. Best scope on the market.

    Take a good long look at Burris ...........
    I have Burris and Leupold's.....

    I suggest the Fullview two's , there are many models .........

    look at the 4.5 X 14 power..........

    you will be much happier with a higher power than 9

    Any suggestions for around $200? The Simmons is certainly within my price range; however the others (Nikon, Burris & Leupold)... are hard for me to justify with the wife. Thanks!

    I've heard good things about the bushnell elite scopes.

    good scope , clear , not a bank robber either [:)]
