Ruger Mark III 817

Just wondering if anyone know the exact date Ruger is releaseing there Ruger Mark III 817 Model? The Ruger web site just says late 2004 and I was wondering if anyboby know an exact date?

  Someone on another message board claims that there may be a problem with it and Ruger may delay the release of it.The regular 22LR Mark III is in some gun shops now.
