8 gauge ammo
i have many rounds of 8 gauge ( loaded at factory ) anyone know what they are worth?

Depends what kind of load and what audience. I've seen old paper hulls with slugs go for $5 a piece at a gun show, but like I said, it's what you have, and who's there to buy it. 0 -
There are "kiln gun" rounds in slug or buckshot routinely available (albeit not commonly outside of collector circles) - these are sold to industrial concerns to blast the slag on the inside of . . . that's right - kilns. There are also British rounds - both 8 bore rifle and 8 gauge shotgun. Finally there are US 8 gauge sporting rounds made for waterfowl hunting before the limitations imposed by the Migratory Waterfowl Act. I have heard of (but not seen) some Russian rounds coming on the market for use in an imported shotgun of that bore (for what one would use it is a mystery to me given the legal restrictions on bore size for waterfowl hunting).
The value of the specimens will vary enormously depending on which of these types you have and their condition. Other than a novelty item, the market is pretty much in the collector field. $5 is about top dollar for the kiln gun rounds and this is usually the typical loading seen at gun shows. The others usually bring more, but it is a very limited market . . . I picked up roughly eight rounds a year ago and still have three or four left, as well as some brass and nickeled brass hulls (including patent ignition types).
