Can anyone out there tell me where Weatherby shotguns are made?

How is the quality of the weatherby auto shotguns? Never seen one, they appear to be very reasonably priced. What do they compare too as far as fit, finsh, reliablilty etc...

they are nothing more than a japanese SKB with a weatherby name on it. flat shooters and wide ribs. strong lock up.

The side by sides, which I think are now discontinued, were made in Spain. Beautiful guns, but the price wasn't. The semi-autos are Italian, if I'm not mistaken. When in doubt, go to www.weatherby.com

Hello,
I own a Weatherby SAS shadow grass 12 ga. It was made in Japan. I do know they have updated models that are now made in Italy I believe.

Hi Len, I just got one for christmas, its nice!
Orion Super Sporting Clays, 30" bls, ported, real nice wood.
