Model 12 Trench Gun WWII

Hi all......

I hop some one can help, I`m putting together a WWII trench gun and have all the parts(all original)except for a heat shield and I can`t find one anywhere, I was woundering if someone new were to get on?

  That will be the most difficult of all the parts to locate, not to mention the most expensive, assuming you need the bayonet lug AND the heat shield. The heat shields can be bought for under $40, complete assemblys for around $600 good condition. just watch all the auction sites, the heat shields alone are common.
