bicentenial nylon 66 .22lr worth
My dad has a Remington Nylon 66 that he got in 1976 for his 16th birthday. Its in really good shape, he has only shot it a couple of times since he got it. He has lived in the city for all his life. No rust or anything like that. Does anybody know about how much its worth?

I'd say about $150. If it is a Bicentennial Commenmorative, (marked on receiver cover) it is worth more. Great guns, I hope it makes its way to you someday.

As long as it is mint...about $200 in most parts of the country. These were kinda' the little gun that could...much maligned and disabused by the gun magazine wags! I agree that I hope your dad passes it on to you as the nylon stock will likely be found by some archaeologist in about a thousand years still in 70% condition! All kiding aside, they are neat little guns and should be kept in the family to pass on...enjoy the heritage!

Groovy, I bet he will get a kick out of hearing that. Now I just have to figure out how much it was when he got it in '76.
