Hello to all, my friend has a Colt Commander serial number 80BS10384. Can someone please tell me the year of manufacture. Thanks as always, B.C..

  Hi, need some help. I've picked up a Colt Commander Series 70 With No recoil spring. Can any one tell me, the length, how mnany coils , or spring wire dia? I have a bunch of full size 1911 springs I can use to cut down. Thanks for the help

  Hello Combat Commander changed from 70bs99999 to 80bs1001 march 1 1980 80 bs9009 - 80 bs 17664 =1981 17665-xxxxx = 1982 or later quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN"
