870 help needed

when i shoot a shell and pump the slide the next shell will not load. it will pop out if i hit the button inside the gun. what could the problem be and should i send her to remington

My old man's backhand used to land,

    Sounds like you need one or both magazine shell cutoffs.

    When was the last time you cleaned the mag. tube? Is the shell stopping before it gets to the end of the tube? Like Nunn said, there are two(L&R) shell latches,pieces of plastic can jamb them up.
