rem. 597 mag disassembly

I just can't seem to figure out how to take my Remington Model 597 .22LR mags apart. The manual tells me how to take apart the plastic ones but not the ones made of metal. They are dirty and are begging for a cleaning.

  I just run them under hot soapy water then use a hair dryer to make sure that its dry. If its so dirty it won't work right I'd just replace it their cheap.
