Sigma V , E , and VE

I would like to know what the difference's are between the V, E and VE in the Smith and Wesson Sigma series. And if the guns are worth buying.

    hey,

    i have a S&W SW9VE

    my personal opinion is that it is a great gun for the 300 and change that i spent on it (new)

    like all firearms it has advantages and disadvantages which may varry basd on the shooter, his needs and a zillion other factors

    some things that i like about it are:
    the way it fits in my hand, the very light weight and the DOA action. it has also proven quite reliable on a steady diet of UMC FMJ ammo

    some drawbacks however are:
    it has no external safety (it has a very effective internal safety systtem but no external safety none the less), due to the DOA action it has a very long trigger pull which some say is worse than other DOA pistoles. and due to the 4" barrel it is not the most accurate firearm on the marcket.


    overall the SW9VE is very much improved over the original sigma series that S&W released early in the 90's so if you here any negatives take them with a grain of salt and by what works for you. it is a great gun if y ou are just getting into pistoles
