AR-15 clip
just purchased a bunch of items at a gun shop that went out here in N.E. penna,,,there is a ram-line 30 rd clip for ar-15,,mini-14,,is it legal to sell this on gun-broker,,,,,,,,thank you,,jim

YES this is a combo mag. it will work on AR-15 and also Mini-14. it has two lock up ports on the same mag. not a bad mag either. about $30.00 or less!!! 0 -
Don't mean to rain on Hatchettman's parade, but although it's legal to sell hi-cap magazines on GB some states/cities prohibit the sale of hi-cap magazines.
I use to have the list, as years ago I sold some. You gotta be careful where you ship hi-caps, not worth while getting in trouble for a jam-line mag.

ok ok i'll do it...im good at splitting hairs so....a clip is whats used on M1 garands its a flat piece of metal that holds say 5 rounds and you stick it down in the gun and pull out the clip to load. a magazine looks like a box and has a spring in it. it is used on AR-15's. ehh...i know you guys knew that! i read the post thinking there was a question on an AR sling or something![:D] 0 -

bobski...a clip is used on M1 Garands, but the military ones hold 8 rounds, and stays in the rifle until the last round is fired. (That's where you hear that 'PING' sound as the clip is ejected) Some aftermarket makers make 5 round, 'hunting' clips.
And, it's not a straight piece of metal, it's more horse shoe shaped to hold the 8 rounds. You must have been thinking about 'stripper' clips, made for the 1903 Sprindfield.

Yes you are right about what a stripper clip is bobski. They use them on SKS fixed mags. And some other rifles as well. You just push down on the line of rounds and it feeds them into the magazine. Correct on the clip..just wrong gun.. 0 -

what difference does it make? the bloody ban ends in 14 days, so wait till then to sell it and you might get better retail on it anyway.
