WASR FINISH?
Got a WASR a while back and was wondering about the barrel bluing. The finish is not great and I was thinking about rubbing it with some Flitz to even it out and smooth the barrel. I just want to make sure it doesn't make the finish worse. Flitz says it works great with hot bluing. Is that what is on a new WASR? Got any ideas? any help would be appreciate. Dandy

I sent my SAR1 to http://www.krebscustom.com had them refinish it, do a trigger job and add a muzzle brake. All said and done came to about $300.
Did I increase the value of the gun? No but it shoots nice and looks nice and this is my favorite gun right now so i don't care.
