How To Adjust Trigger Pull

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the trigger pull on a Savage 10FP .308? This one doesn't have the accutec adjustable trigger and the factory site says it can't be retrofitted. I love the rifle just need to do something about the trigger pull, it could also stand to be smoothed out some as it has a really hard and abrupt breaking point. Thanks for advice.

  I would take it to a qualified gunsmith.Most only charge 25 to 35 bucks.

  that is exactly what gunsmiths go to school for. Let a qualified professional do the work.

  If the gunsmithing route doesn't work, also ask about a rifle basix trigger. Midway has them for $70 on sale, supposed to get it down adjustable below 3#. Also Brownells may have something for the Savage.
