Is This a Good Deal?
ok a few questions 1)I have a sigma 40v how dose a 4046 compare? 2) Is it a good deal? http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=8381887 3)I have not fired my sigma yet I have read that it is a love it or hate it gun, it had/has a few problems if i decide to sell/trade it what is the fair price when I got it I paid 329 last aug with an extra 10 shot mag it has a stainless slide, I was told it was 95%+ I checked not a mark on it I have box lock paperwork every thing. When I got the sigma the shop had a few 4046 it felt nice but the price was high. By the way are hi-caps ok in Philadelphia Pa.

Considering the weapon, scope, accesories, and work done to "accurize" it, is this a good deal? Have any of you ever dealt with this company? Any info would be great! Thanks in advance!

Yep, alot of money. Takes the fun out of buying a new gun and then shopping for it.[8D]

Three things I noticed right off.
1, The bolt ways have not been trued.
2, The receiver threads have not been recut (doing this however won't allow reuse of the factory barrel).
3, There reusing the factory barrel (knowing how Rem cuts chambers, I consider all there barrels to be suspect).
I could tolerate any 1 of the 3, but all three together tells me there doing a 1/2 arse job and charging the unsuspecting consumer a premimum for it.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0 -
Just order up a Sauer and be done with it for a lot less money. Most accurate and best finnished rifle I ever had, and I have had several. 0 -
I would say if you had money burning a hole in your pocket, then go for it. I do, however, think that there are better deals out there to be had.

If I were to be spending that kind of money, I would be looking at an H-S Precision. Just my humble opinion[:D]

Hi ironjohn,
That seems like a lot of money. KY Imports, Inc., Info telephone: 502-244-4400 (apparetnly they do not have a website) has been selling these for $759.99 with a 20 inch flutted barrel. I have seen their advertisements in Shotgun News several times. I do not believe theirs includes a scope, but for the price difference you could afford to make you own choice.
If you really like this particular rifles, perhaps you could inquire with this store.
