My stepbrother felt like messing with my sights last time we were at the range, now it cant hit a friggn barn. If i set the rear sight to the 100 yard setting, where should the bullet be hitting at 50yds? I'm hoping to fix it at the range this weekend. Thanks for the replies in advance.

It should hit high, but what about the windage?
Did he mess with that?

Because of only 10 post being allowed on this Forum I am reposting here.
Are you aware that there is a "Battle Sight"?
When the sight is all the way to the back it is set for 300 meters.
1 step forward will start the sight at 100 meters and progress to 1000 meters up the ladder.

Windage is fine, he just felt like raising the front sight until it popped out. Got it back in but now it shoots really low, and I'm wanting to get it back on track. Night sight is down, just need to know what the point of impact should be if I have it on the 100m setting at a 50m range.

Yeah, I know about the battle sight, but I need a 25m range to sight it in on that setting, all I have acess to is a 50m range. I also called the place and they said I couldnt set up a target frame at 25m b/c it might interfere with their other shooters.

dont think that the #s on the sight has anything to do with wher the bullet hits! if you can sight it in ,but the #s arent right who cares? 0 -
IF YOU ARE SHOOTING LOW THE FRONT SIGHT IS TOO HIGH. LOWER THE FRONT SIGHT AND THE BULLET IMPACK WILL GO UP. AT 50 YRDS YOU SHOULD BE JUST ABOUT DEAD ON OR JUST A INCH LOW FOR A 100/150 YRD IMPACT. 0 -
