anybody have an idea what a lyman junior targetspot 6-power scope on my winchester model 52B (1947) may be worth !

    Nick Strobel's excellent book, ( circa 2000 ), values it between $225 & $325.

    Nick Stroebel also has an excellent book on old gunsights (and is even better than his book on old scopes).

    I like to use www.bookfinder.com as you sometimes can find a used book or out of print ( early editions ) at reasonable prices.
    Amazon also is a viable choice as they sometimes give a healthy discount on multiple purchases.

    Another site is www.alibris.com I have found a few books there. Also check out the various auction sites. I have seen Nick's books being offered on a couple of them. Emery

    doc, They are selling between $275.00-$475.00 on eBay, just depends on how bad the bidder wants the scope.

    Nick's book is excellent but don't go buying sights thinking your going to realize the stated values that are listed ! You'll go broke reselling. Use it as an excellent reference guide only. Some sights will sell much higher and others WAY lower.
