Remington 241 22 short

Does any one know if the Remington 241 in 22 short has any more worth than the long rifle?[^]

I have found that the LR have had slightly higher asking prices at gun shows than the shorts. I believe this is for shooters. Collector condition, they are about equal.

What few I run across around here seem to be in the same price range in comparable condition.I have several of these and only one is "short only".As a matter of fact,it's the only one I've ever seen in about 30 years of collecting.

I have one of these. I paid $220 for it which is probably a lot more than it is worth. However, I didn't have a 241 and it seemed interesting. The seller assured me that it was a "gallery" gun which it is not. It was made in 1946.
