Ammunition (+P)
I know this type of ammo isn't compatible with all types of guns and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was compatible with a Star MDL Bm 9mm.

I don't know, but on issues of this type, the very best source of information is the maker.
OOOPS - meant to specify "the firearm's maker." Thanks for the save, David!

The Star Model BM was a large, robust pistol for the small 9mm caliber. Make sure yours is actually 9mm parabellum. Please take it to a reputable gunsmith before firing, particularly with any +P ammunition. The pistol was origionally chambered for the 9mm largo cartridge, a longer straight case version of the 9mm parabellum, that operated at higher pressures. Have your gunsmith inspect the weapon, check the chambering, and if necessary replace the recoil spring with one heavy enough to absorb 9x19 +P slide velocity. 0
