Sears and Super Speed brass?

After pulling bullets from some reloads that were given to me I was inspecting the brass. Noticed that the wall thickness on two of them was very thin. Looked at the headstamp and one is Sears, and the other is Super Speed. Both 30-06. Can anybody tell me anything about these. Just curious. Don't intend on reloading them. Thanks

    I'm not familiar with Sears ammunition; The Super Speed is the Headstamp used on Winchester ammo during the 50s and 60s. Olin operated Winchester and Western; Winchester was Super Speed, Western was Super-X. Then it went to WW-Super, then they pretty much dropped Western and headstamped it Winchester. I did a comparison of various brands and headstamped cases about 25 years ago; using 308 & 7.62; the military brass, FA & LC had the most brass, RP (RemUMC) had the most of the commercial brass, then FC(Federal), then WW-Super; then Super Speed & SuperX, which were the lightest; or the other side, they had the largest powder capacity. The advantage of the thinner brass was that higher velocities could be achieved because the case had a greater capacity; the disadvantage was the greater space caused a less efficient cartridge. So with any brand there was a bright side, just depends on your viewpoint.
