I.D. this Round??
Thought I'd seen most of them. This one has me stumped but I'm betting someone out there will know the answer without even breaking a sweat.
Found a shell at the range the other day. At a glance it looks much like the .308 but longer.
Odd head size too.
Here are the specs:
OAL 2.18"
Head Diameter .497
Appears to be .308 cal.
Neck approx. .32 long
Marking on head;
"4" at 12 o'clock
"A" at 3
"78" at 6, and
"D" at 9.
Any ideas??
