Break-Free CLP

Does anyone know if it is safe to use CLP on polymer frames? For example spraying it in the trigger, to clean it out.
I sent an e-mail to their website asking this question, they haven't replied yet, its been a few days.

Guns cause crime, like flies cause garbage.

Breakfree will not hurt polymer frames, however you might have better cleaning results with Gunscrubber or one of the other higher pressure aerosols. Make sure you lightly lube areas cleaned with the thinner solvent type aerosol cleaners.

Break-Free won't hurt your gun, but Gunscrubber might. FYI...Instead of paying $8 a can for Gunscrubber, go to your auto parts store and pay half that for brake cleaner. same thing different label.

Break Free also makes a product called Powder Blast. It works great for what you described.

CAUTION, some brands of breakcleaner contain water!! This is not good on your guns, I know from experiance.

I have been using Break-Free on my Glocks and HK's for a number of years. No discoloration...

Guns only have two enemies: Rust and Liberals....

Break Free has a gun scrubber type product. I cant remember the specific name, but you can get it at wal mart. It works in the same way as Gunscrubber, but it is a citrus oil base and isn't as harsh on the metal or the frame. I won't use the Birchwood product anymore. Try it out and see for yourself.
