I bought one of those about a year ago. Nothing special, except that they are hard to find. The owner of a shop I go to sometimes told me that he had heard they came in when CVA was thinking about expanding. He also heard that CVA didn't have the right approval through the ATF and the feds stopped anymore from coming in. I don't know for sure if that's true or not, but the shop owner is a very experienced and knowledgeable guy. Mine was a 12ga., with a fixed choke. I only shot 2&3/4" shells in it. It did fine.

Is it true that cannibals won't eat clowns cause they taste funny?

Actually, I bought it that day. It was priced at sixty dollars, but the shop owner is a good friend and let me have it for $45. Couldn't pass it up!!!

Be hard to beat a working shotgun for $45. Presumably made for CVA in Italy, it is likely to be a utility shotgun. I think you got a fine buy.
