Paintball gun lube question

    I think the lube question has more to it . I think some lubes will make the paint ball expand and like a AIR RIFLE because the presure generated in the barrel there is a chance the petrolume base oil will diesel .I would check on air gun lube of use SYN. lube only. quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN"

    I don't know if your paintball-gun is a gas operated model, if it's with the special gas - then you can get paintball gas with silicone in it.


    It's right, son't use standard aerosol lubrication.
    What you have in those aerosols, usually don't go well with rubber.

    In other words, the regular aerosol (spraycan) oil and regular oil for that matter - dissolves the rubber or makes it swell and crack up.

    I think I read somewhere, that it's a silicone based lubrication that is the best.
    It must be synthetic at least, if you're using anything else than the original paintball gunoil because of the gaskets.

    Rain-x??? I know we used to use this in our barrels,dont know how it would work on internal parts though.

    any light weight oil works for paintball guns

    as in Rain X. using that will kill the barrel..
