Swedish m44
I have a friend looking for a m44, but he wants it in the Swedish round (6.5X55?) is there such a thing? I have only seen them in 7.62x54 but I told him I would try to find him one so any help or comments would be appreciated. Dandy

The Finns necked down the Russian 7.62 x 54mmR to 6.5mm for a target round. To the best of my knowledge, it has been long obsolete and never chambered in the Model 1944 Carbine.
As the 6.5 x 55mm Swedish cartridge is rimless, besides rebarreling, extensive modifications to the bolt face and the magazine would have to be done, to get it to feed and function through a Model 1944 Carbine.
