I just got a gun and I was curious at to what year it was made. The serial # is 1620441. Thanks!

  The book Winchester Dates of Manufacture by Madis says it was made in 1918.

  Made in 1955 according to Riffle, who is a little more accurate than Maddis. Regards Dave
