Anyone seen these targets?
Tonight at the range an acquaintance came up and gave me about 50 targets. They are paper, 2 feet in diameter and consists of a 1 foot wide almost totally black circle with the marking "5V" in the center. In the outer white part of the 2 foot circle is the marking "4".
These paper tagets are HUGE and appear to be old and starting to deteriorate. There is a thin black circle at the outer edge of the 2 foot wide circle. At the bottom left it says "Repair Center, Rifle A".
Why would anyone use this huge target?

Bruce..... It sounds like you have some centers for the military 1000 yard rifle targets.
The actual target is about 5ft by 4ft and these targets you have appear to be the bullseye portion so they can change the center rather than the entire target.
