Original 1849/1851 Colt 36 cal. Blackpowder
Hello Captkirk3:
I communicated with you on July 6, 2004 via Gunbrokers forum concerning my 1849/1951 (?) navy colt. I asked & you advised not to clean my original blackpowder navy colt as it was more valuable uncleaned. I did not clean it & and now have photos to share. I want to be sure I identify it correctly as I plan on listing it on gunbrokers. I saw where you are the moderator today & was not able to figure out how to attach photos to the gunbrokers "ask the experts" forum. Thus, I have attached to an email directly to you a few photos of the gun in question. All five S/N (5854) match & I do have more photos. Your kind assistance in identifying the gun & any recommendations are welcomed.
