Hello,

I'm a hunter from spain, I have a Browning European model whith the boss action, the problem is that it is so noisy and some times I have to take of the boss. I've read that de boss-cr solve this problem but I don't know which one could fit to my rifle. I suposse the ref 114-0032 but I have no way to confirm it.

Please, could someone help me?.

    Welcome to the Forums!

    The number that you list for the Boss-CR should fit your rifle if it is chambered for the 30-06 Springfield. But, if there is any question in your mind, about which one is really correct, then contact these folks:

    if your rifle is the 30-06..i have the boss cr 80/90 polished (blue)..R720CP in its hard case..drop me a e-mail @ toolman9mm@yahoo.com

    guchillo..my mistake...mine is for the bar mk2,a-bolt,medallion,gold medallion and the varmit..the # on the back of the case for the euro in 30-06 is R720CM...hope this helps...not sure if it is just a finish difference or a thread diff.... tom

    Thaks all for your answer, the problem is that "AGUIRRE Y CIA" didn't even know that the boss-cr exist. So I looked at the browning web site looking for the reference of the Boss-cr which one will fit at my rifle order to buy it and I found out that for the 30-06 springfield there are three diferents references (114-0031; 114-0032; 114-0033).

    I probably should have broken the codes down in the first place.

    114-0033 is stainless

    114-0032 is matte blue

    114-0031 is gloss blue

    Now, just pick the one that matches your barrel. Sorry about that!
