kimber or cooper?
I'm considering purchasing a Kimber Longmaster VT or Pro Varmint or a Cooper Varminter or Varminter Extreme chambered in .204 Ruger or 22-250 (I'm leaning a bit towards the .204). Most of shooting I'll be doing will be at the bench but I'd like to get into the field a bit. I'm not sure whether the .204 is a current offering from either companies, but I have seen a few (Kimber & Cooper)here on Broker and ***********. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

strongly reccomend the cooper they are top notch as for the cal. i have not heard a great deal of positive about 204 yet stick with the proved triple duece 50 hope this helps 0 -
I have a Cooper Montana Varminter in 22-250, and it is truly an awesome rifle for the money. I would highly recommend the Cooper, but the Kimber is also a good choice. Have you picked-up a Longmaster? It is a very heavy rifle. I would take it in 22-250 instead of .204. The new cartridge has not been proven yet in my opinion. I would be worried about barrel life. 0 -

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
