Colt Govt. Model Carbine

I have a Colt lower receiver marked Colt AR-15 Govt. model carbine SN GC 0185XX and it has the sear block. I have been told that it is post ban receiver. But I have a Krause publications book on gun values printed in 2003 that states post ban receivers were not marked AR-15. I need reliable information please. Thanks Much. John

  According to the Biggerhammer site, looks like you just missed the cut-off, unless your last two digets are zeroes.
