identifying asian military M14 mags

Do the asian military mags I see advertised in SGN have any special markings so that they could be identified such? Thanks.

  GL, I just sold some here on GB. One of the buyers asked me how many spot welds were down the front of the mag. There were 12. He said the cheaper made asian/chinese, had no more than 3 or 4 spot welds. He said the ones with 12 were the better ones.
  
  I don't know much about them. I'd had them for several years and had no need for them.
  
  I'd try contacting SGN and asking them how many spot welds were down the front of the mag.
  
  (It might have been the rear of the mag. I really forget, but it's one or the other.)

  I believe that the mags you saw advertised were made in Taiwan; they are the only M14 mags I've seen with a blued finish. I've heard they work well, but have no personal experience.
  
  Mags made by the Chicoms (Polytech & Norinco) are a silver-gray matte color. These function as well as USGI.
