Mossberg 500 stock on a 9200?

Will a Mossberg 500 stock fit on a 9200? I am thinking of getting a pistol grip one to put on my 9200 in september, but want to make sure it will fit and can't find the info anywhere. There doesn't seem to be any 9200 stocks out there..

  a mossberg 500 stock will fit a 500a, 590, and a 835, but will not fit a 9200. the reason being , if i remmember right, the 9200 is a semi-auto, and has a recoil buffer that extends out past the receiver!!!

  Actually the 9200 just has a little nub that sticks out about 3/8" behind the reciever where the stock bolt screws in. I guess I will just have to try it myself and see.
