Need some info on date of manufacture and est values on these four gifts from my f-i-law.
savage arms, stevens model 311, 12 ga SxS, good condition no rust, no visible wear on blue, light colored finish
win 94 30-30 good condition no rust scratches or wear
marlin pump 20 ga model 44, good condition fine patina from use and good care. no rust
marlin firearms lever 30-30 Blue Octagon barrel(Special Smokeless Steel), Nickel color reciever, <"Marlin Safety"> on top of reciever, side eject, knurled rear windage sight screw type. normal wear/fine patina some light rust on barrel and reciever. Obviously an old rifle that was used and cared for previously. Just stuck in an upstairs closet for the past 25-30 years.
Any help on the DOM and est values would be appreciated.

Welcome to the board va ducker. Approximately : Stevens 311 - $250, Winchester 94 (post 64) - $275, Marlin pump $200 if in working condition(not much interest in those although 20 guage is rare in that model. The final Marlin I'd put at $300 although the light rust would need to be examined as your "light rust" could be another guys heavily pitted. Just my opinion. 0 -

Any suggestions on how to remove some light rust on the old
Marlin 30-30? I don't ever plan to sell these but I also don't
want to hurt the values either........0 -
Take it out of the wood and spray it liberally with a good penetrating oil. I use ZEP45 myself. Let it sit for a few minutes then LIGHTLY rub it with 0000 steel wool. Take care not to rub the bluing off, just enough to remove the patina of rust. Wipe it with a clean rag, then repeat the process as many times as it takes to totally remove all the rust.
Apply a thin coat of oil, rubbing it in with a cloth, then wipe off excess oil and re-mount it in the wood. Should take care of your situation.

Great advice from Savage33.
0000 steel wool and light oil rubbed lightly will does a great job of removing surficial rust.
