    A 99C Mfg circa 1899-1915

    100% $995 (Aprox) to 60% $425 Aprox

In the cals of 303 sav. 30-30 win, 25-35 wcf, 32-40 wcf, 38-55 wcf.

If its 100% "untuched, unfired" NIB $995 is very consertive. That would be a very rare find to be honest.

It is a .308 cal. if that will help define the model and definitely has never been fired. I don't think it is nearly as old as your post suggests which may reduce the value.

Just got off the phone with the seller, he says it was made approx. 20-22 years ago and is asking $595 with 3x9x32 Weaver scope sighted. I am looking for a good overall rifle for hunting everything from hogs in Texas to Elk in Wyoming and that will reach out and grab an antelope if need be. I think the .308 does all that from what I have read and the lever action would be perfect for me since I shoot left handed.

Another advantage to the Savage is that you may use spire or pointed bullets since most lever actions with tube magazines require round or blunt nose projectiles. The 99 doesn't care. Tjis should be a nice setup and for the price and condition, the Weaver and mounts are virtually free. They are very smooth, fast, and nice to carry.
