1939 8mm chinese?

Does anyone know what kind of bullets I can shoot in this(1939 8mm china)? Also what kind of range can I get with this gun? thank much Kimmie

  I believe this is in standard 8MM mauser(7.92X57MM), the cartridge is effective to 1000 meters in military terms.

  Get the gun checked out first before you fire it. There have been some problems with the Chinese Mausers.

  I had to replace a sloppy bolt on mine with one from a German 98K. I shoot standard 8mm surplus ammo. The Chinese 8mm Mausers aren't easily found. Congratulations! As suggested earlier, be sure to have it checked out good before firing.
