New Savage trigger?
Does anyone know if the new Savage trigger is available as an after-market product and if not will it be available in the near future. Thanks.

Not sure if their selling to the general public but I do know your SOL if you want to put a new Accu-Trigger on an older model savage it won't fit[:(].If you want a new trigger for it I'd go with a Jewell, Timney or I heard Basix is a nice trigger never tried one.

Your factory trigger can easily be improved . I polished and replaced one spring and now have a clean,crisp,n 2# pull . Take rifle to a qualified gunsmith and you will like the results .

I agree with D@D. Read an article a while back on Savage when the Accutrigger was just coming out. As he said, you are SOL to retrofit it to older rifles and a conversion was absolutely not in the works. It was not and would not be offered as an aftermarket. Of course, things change but I'm sure they would just as soon sell you a new one as to try to rework your old one. 0
