    Hello Joe,

I can't really say for sure... still LOTS of research to do, pictures to take, notes to decipher, and specimens to discover and look at.

If I could get even more people (though I am averaging about one new person per day) who owns one or more of them to contact me, it will go faster. My biggest problem, is that I am just a regular working stiff like most other people (unlike yourself), and I have a limited amount of time that I can dedicate to the task. Fortunately, I am slowly gathering a diverse cadre of willing volunteers (from around the world I might add) that are now involved in my search for those superb old rifles.

I have a newly revised set of survey forms that I need to send to you. If anyone else who reads this is interested, please contact me at Win1885@msn.com, and I will send you a set of survey forms.

I will Be at The Big Reno show this coming weekend (at a table with a good friend and fellow Winchester Single-shot buff), passing out copies of my survey forms. I will also be haunting the tables looking for previously unseen specimens, and once in awhile, I find one that I can't pass up.

    Thanks for asking.

    Bert H.
