    Hello The series 70 top half Is one of the best slides you can buy However the essex frame could be very good or junk some were very good and some looked good but had mag well and pin holes in wrong place .all of these pistols were Built from parts and only as good as the person puting them together and the parts that were used.This said and only 90% the top half is $250.00 and the bottom half $50.00-$75.00. just my opinion If you want to SELL put on this sight for 300 you might get lucky and find someone who wants one .

    I agree with the poster above on the slide.I buy 70 series colt slides with all internals and sights fairly often for $225-$275 in 90%.I disagree with his price on the bottom,an essex frame will run you at least a hundred bucks then you have to buy and install all the internals,you cant buy a loaded Daly or rock island lower for less than $200 I would start it at $400 on auction and see where it goes.

    Hello I will sort of agree with sharpshooter If you buy "GOOD" parts for the bottom half you can spend $200.00 and a essex frame will cost you $100 BUT and A big BUT is as I stated This gun was built by an unknown with unknown parts on a unknown "GOOD OR BAD" essex frame he might have been a master gunsmith or a blacksmith. as far as CHARLES DALY OR ROCK ISLAND i might be stepping on some toes but they are JUNK quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN"
