Browning Ultra Sporter

Looking at a unfired Ultra Sporter Ported 12 ga with adjustable comb and 28" barrels - any info on the gun generally and value generally would be appreciated. I know that this is the gun that preceeded the XS. thanks

    Blue Book says made 1995-99. 100% $1525, 98% $1050 add $210 for adj. comb. I have GTI 28"(the preceding model) and an Ultra 32". I really like both. They have the invector plus chokes, broadway ribs, and beavertail forearms. They tend to be more barrel heavy (weight forward) than the lightning tho they weigh almost identical. They have been fine shooters, only problem I had was the wrist on the GTI cracked a couple times, Had highly figured wood. For most shooting I prefer the 28". Depends on the sport and your own preference if you like longer barrels.
